PubMed and NHS ATHENS

Do you use PubMed?

Do you have an NHS ATHENS registration?

Then searching just got a lot easier!

By using the version of PubMed available at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?myncbishare=nhsjournals you will be able to see instantly which of your search results are available in full test by using your NHS ATHENS registration.
While the first PubMed screen looks no different from normal, the screen which displays your results includes an extra tab: "NHS England Full Text".
When you click in to read the abstract of an article, look for the NHS logo - this tells you the article is available in full text using your NHS ATHENS username and password.

If you would like any help or support in using PubMed and/or your NHS ATHENS registration, please contact Isla at the Medical Library: email library@medschl.cam.ac.uk or phone (01223) 336750.
